At Acquarius, we are building a modern, high‑quality professional services platform across trust, corporate, and fund structures. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Client Accountant to play a central role in delivering exceptional accounting services to our international client base.
The Opportunity
This is not a back‑office accounting role. You will act as a trusted adviser and primary point of contact for clients, helping them navigate accounting, tax, and financial reporting requirements while strengthening long‑term relationships.
Working within a dynamic TCSP environment, you will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering a high‑value, client‑centric service.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare statutory financial statements under FRS102 / IFRS / local GAAP.
*Prepare financial statements for a portfolio of trusts in accordance with trust deeds, fiduciary principles, and Gibraltar regulatory requirements.
*Prepare and maintain fund accounting records and calculate NAV in accordance with fund constitutional documents, applicable Gibraltar fund regulations (including AIFM / EIF regimes), and recognised accounting standards.
*Prepare and file corporate tax andregulatory returns.
*Act as the lead contact on client accounting, tax, and finance matters.
*Design and deliver management reporting and KPI insights for clients.
*Manage relationships with auditors and external service providers.
*Oversee and review the work of junior team members, supporting their development.
*Work closely with internal teams (compliance, corporate services, etc.) to deliver seamless client outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
*Professionally qualified (ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
*Minimum 5 years’ post‑qualification experience.
*Strong client relationship and communication skills.
*Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Highly Desirable
*Experience within a TCSP environment.
*Experience in fund accounting.
*Experience in trust accounting.
