Leigh-Anne Cruz

MAAT, CERT CII

Leigh-Anne was appointed as a Director of the Acquarius Group of Companies in November 2012. She is mainly involved in the Financial management of the Acquarius Trust Group.

Training at Ernst & Young in the early 1990’s obtaining her Association of Accounting Technician qualification in 1993 she then moved to Willis Corroon in Gibraltar worked in the insurance captive field. In 1998 she joined BDO to continue her work in the Captive Insurance industry reporting to the Financial Services Commission and assisted in licence applications of insurance companies including Admiral Insurance. During this period Leigh-Anne continued her studies achieving her Insurance Foundation Certificate.

After a short maternity break Leigh-Anne joined ATG as a financial controller and head of the client accounting team ultimately overseeing the financial management of the Group itself. In 2007 she was approached by Loreto Convent School Gibraltar to assist with the financial aspects of the school that has evolved into the position of Senior Finance Manager at the school on a part time basis.
