Worried about travel?
With the latest Chinese bug now scouring the planet perhaps many people are worried about the chance of catching what is commonly called the Corona virus (SARSv2). The first thing to say is from every account so far this in most cases will present flu like symptoms and fit and healthy adults and children will have no problems. The issue is with those suffering an illness already or elderly/young with weak immune systems etc. This is the main reason countries are trying to contain the spread, to protect the vulnerable. So what can we do?
Avoid close contact with people, don’t shake hands and if you do soap and water before you touch your face/mouth area. I saw a recent World Health Organisation (WHO) announcement recently about face masks which everyone seems to be buying.
- If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with suspected 2019-nCoV infection.
- Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing.
- Masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
- If you wear a mask, then you must know how to use it and dispose of it properly.
The other good news is businesses like the Acquarius Trust Group hold 100’s of meeting a year and a lot of them are VOIP which means you can be anywhere you like in the world and we can catch up. Easy.
