EU v Poland & Hungary?

A liner I saw this morning on the net is one asking if both Poland and Hungary are about to be kicked out of the EU. Really it was click bait but it is an interesting point as both countries are almost daily being harangued in some for or other by the EU mandarins and their several layers of administration below. Yes that was a dig at the layers within the EU. If ever there was an institution that needed the “how many civil servants does it take to change a light bulb” gag it is the EU.

Both countries have had a severe ticking off by the EU for making a mockery of EU values and more recently the European Parliament has voted to pursue unprecedented disciplinary action over alleged breaches of the EU’s core values. Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s government has been accused of attacks on the media, minorities, and the rule of law – charges which he denies.

Their only ally Poland would veto anything it could to support Hungary and vice versa but it is interesting how along with Italians voicing their opinions and unrest in France how Brexit could look like a good option to some of them.

Gibraltar voted remain and that is clearly because as a small country we are better in a partnership with other countries to help ward off aggression. Business also flows neatly and smoothly and we believe it will beyond brexit in what ever shape which is why we work continuously to make it so.
